Pablo Galvez is the Public Affairs Representative at the European Banking Federation (EBF), working on the outreach activities and advocacy of the federation towards the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union. Prior to that, he worked for the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC), leading the advocacy initiatives of different working groups covering different European industries operating in China. Before that, he also worked for the European Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (EuroCham Myanmar) and as a Blue Book trainee for the European External Action Service (EEAS), Asia-Pacific Division. He studied Chinese in Nankai University (Tianjin) and Chengchi University (Taipei). He holds a Master’s Degree in Politics of China from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) of the University of London. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in East Asian Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in History, both from the Autonomous University of Madrid.
